Expedia is the worst company I have…

Expedia is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I tried to cancel a reservation with them but their machine would not track by my credit card number and they just asked me for booking number. There was no booking number on my printed email receipt. I called the hotel directly to cancel but they said that they had no reservation from Expedia.
I tried every number listed for Expedia to try again but I could not get help. I tried to email but system did not recognize me. Maybe it was good I got sick and tried to cancel because hotel said they never had my reservation anyway, What a nightmare!

WORST COMPANY IT'S HORRIFYING!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
To speak to anything other than a robot, make sure you have your itinerary.. god forbid you lose it or it's not accessible, it's impossible to get thru to an agent... what a joke. Then, 6 hour wait times?? Do you think we have 6 hours to sit on hold, during travel especially? Chat..? A joke... what country is handling this chat first of all.. it's not English speaking reps that's for sure, as comprehension is 0. Oh.. the real problem now... needing to make a change to a flight.. stranded at the airport.. can't get a hold of anyone at EX-PEDIA...extremely frustrated at this point buying a flight flat out and never spending money with them again...spent over $8,000 for this, would rather spend another few to not deal with them ever again. They shouldn't even be allowed to handle people's information since they aren't capable of helping you. Their chat is literally broken, it just keeps going in circles when you click a button, then tells you "call this number".... DONE!

No customer support

Needed to change a trip but everything online leads to calling a customer service number that no one ever answers. Once you get through the automated part its says someone will be with you in 4 hours. Looked it up online and the average wait times are 3 hours to speak with someone. Better off booking direct through airlines and motels.

Try to find a live person to help you

Expedia is terrible they put the wrong confirmation on the itinerary they put there's not the hotel the hotels couldn't find it and I had to pay out of my pocket then they wanted to charge me a cancellation charge when I made that call 15 minutes ago I tried for 2 hours to get a hold of a live person eating possible I will never ever ever use the service again and anybody who deals with a company that doesn't have a live person did you always stay away it's a nightmare

I'm not posting a picture of my itinerary with my personal information on it that's why I don't have one I do have copies of it explain to me how I can get it to you

I have been trying to rebook my vacation that was canceled due to covid. I have airline credits but when I try to use them I'm told an agent has to help me. So I've been calling the number for weeks, with no response or help. And in the mean time prices keep going up. I called yesterday and they said the wait time was 4 hrs. This was at 4 p.m so I requested a call back. They called back at 1:30 a.m. 9 1/2 hrs later. Of course I missed it I was sleeping. So I call back at 6:30 a.m just to find out the wait time is 12 hrs. I will NEVER use expedia again. Straight garbage

Very poor customer service - if you even get a hold of them.

Waited over 10 hours on hold today, never got to speak with an agent. Tried to use their website to make the change needed only to get a "sorry, we're having a problem on our end" error. Don't even get me started on their full of crap "trip insurance." Avoid this company. Not worth whatever small savings you may get booking through them.

Eff Expedia in their shiddy faces

Eff you, Expedia. There's no way to contact you when something goes wrong. I really went full re-tard when I used Expedia to book a hotel. I got double charged for a damn room, and when I need to contact you to get a refund, the wait is 6 hours for a call back, I get a call when I'm sleeping. What in the actual fock was I thinking to use your shiddy garbage service?
Eat shhit and die, Expedia.

Unreliable and Unethical

Expedia failed to inform us of a flight issue. We arrived at the airport 3 hours early from the original flight time. Expedia emailed us the change an hour after the flight left! We spent hours on the phone trying to reach customer service to assist us. It was an awful experience.

Beware of Expedia!

Fail to provide proper customer service

My Wife and I used Expedia to book hotel room. We drove to hotel late at night and the Expedia room was short one bed. Hotel Mgr says "we have had all sorts of problems with Expedia. You will need to call them as they are the 3rd party that booked your room" fast forward 2 hours on phone with someone from India, they cannot do a refund without "checking" into it first. How long does this take? I asked. "Several days Sir" the India voice responds back. We had to make pallets on hotel door to sleep without the additional bed we paid for. Hotel had no other rooms available and our limited money we had in bank was held hostage until Expedia "checks" it out. Then 2 weeks later, we get an email from Expedia declining our refund. Even the extra money we paid for the additional bed. Lol! True story! They are a fraud company and if you see them in your smart phone while browsing for a room or reservations, move onto someone else or call the hotel, rental service or airline directly or go to the company's direct website and leave this leach of a so called business, Expedia out of your life. They will skin you alive and talk circles around you while they are doing it. I'd have better luck asking The Prince of Nigeria for a refund than I would Expedia.

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Expedia

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Expedia - its a scam. They will make arrangements and take your money but will take NO responsibility if ANYTHING goes wrong or you need to make changes to your plans. Book flights direct with airlines. Call hotels and set up your own reservation.

Zero Customer Service

I booked round trip tickets through Expedia. The tickets included seat selection. During the booking no seat selection was provided and no seats were assigned. I called Expedia Customer Service and was on hold for over 2 hours before my battery went dead. I called back and wait time for Customer Service was over FOUR HOURS. I called the airlines direct and was assigned seats. There is no Customer Service at Expedia. I will Never, Ever book flights through Expedia again. I will see available flights on Expedia BUT book directly through the airlines website online.

I CANT EVER GET A REAL PERSON JUST A DAM COMPUTER, I NEED TO CANCEL AND I KEEP GETTING TOLD NO, AND NO ANSWER AS TO WHY? AFTER THE FACT THE GOT THE DATES WRONG AND THE PRICE THEY GAVE ME IS NOT WHAT THEY CHARGED! THE APP, AND ONLINE REALLY SUCK!
